In the abyssal obscurity of oblivion,
A fragment of heaven escaped from above,
A tiny, radiant parcel of wonder,
Vivid, sublime in its very own nature.
Distant it was, yet so apprised by my whole being,
I longed for this sole felicity
And sought its gleam with a fervent urge,
Wandering on a lane of pressing solitude and sorrow.
And there it was, that perfect parcel of heaven
Gazing in my very soul, as I approached it.
As the path grew shorter, the puny Elysium flourished,
Revealing itself from its striking veil and golden disguise.
This was the moment we locked eyes,
The moment the pounding of my heart joined yours,
The moment our fingers entwined,
The moment I found you.
