Why has come to my mind the image of a norse valkyrie? Not only the blonde hair or the braid, is also that look in the eyes, the whole expression, like seeing throught all masks... really, really beautiful.
The picture itsef is not at my taste (too much blur) but otherwise the compo is great. I do love your expression. I'm a great fan of smile in portrait but well, in this case, I do think that's an awesome portrait, eyes, mouth, brow... everything's just perfect.
Beautiful, between the name and the feel of this pic, it simply brought this song to the top of my mind:
"Due to the ones who fear Dance in the morninglight Due to the ones who fear Slaves to this innocent might ... See me down Down on the ground Hoping that nobody hears The sound of this falling tears" Lost (Robin's song) - Haggard
who knows, maybe the cold blue and that sad-melancholic look.
Keep up the good work.
BTW here is the link to the song if any one wants to check it out: [link]
You seem very otherworldly in this one. I feel like I'm being studied by Galadriel, or some other ancient immortal. A good use of chiaroscuro as well, with the light bringing a lovely sheen out of your hair, in contrast to how the shadow adds to the severity of your expression.
As always, your eyes are very lovely. Quite easy to get lost in them.
